Emanuel has been playing music since he first picked up a guitar at seven years old. With his band The Motions, he has performed at sold-out venues and events including Lincoln Theatre, Sparkcon, Kings, and more. Currently he is holding a residency with 1887 Bistro at North Carolina State University, where he performs solo on a weekly basis.
As a current student at North Carolina State University, Emanuel has a strong background in music theory, studying it at the collegiate level. He has over 10 years of guitar playing and singing experience, and is also proficient with piano, bass, and drums. In addition to his solo and band work, he volunteers as a musician for services at Grace Community Church and Edenton Street’s College Ministry on campus. He is also a member of the NCSU co-ed acapella group, Wolfgang A Capella. He writes, records, produces, and performs, all out of a genuine love and passion for music. He is available to you now as a personal guitar and music theory teacher.
“Music is my passion and I would love to share that joy with you or your child! Whether you’ve been playing for a while or you’ve never touched an instrument, I’d be happy to help you learn.”
